How many times have you decided to do some decorating but realised you weren’t sure how to calculate the quantity needed. Here are some handy tools to help take the guess work out of how much paint, wallpaper or tiles you need for your DIY projects.
Use this handy paint calculator to work out how much paint you’ll need for your walls.
Enter the dimensions of your wall in m2 then select the number of doors and windows in the room. Select the number of coats you require and click calculate to find out how many litres of paint you will need.
Check out this handy wallpaper calculator. Remember, if you are using patterned wallpaper allow 10% extra for pattern matching ( based on the average pattern repeat). Please note the quantity shown is an estimate calculated on a standard room layout.
This tile chart will help you to estimate the number of tiles you’ll need for the job. Remember to buy extra tiles to allow for breakages!
