Watching the Chelsea Flower Show coverage on TV this year, it seems that there’s a continuing trend for using the garden as additional living space, rather than something pretty to look at out of the window.
I think the example you showed with all the red and white prints is my favourite.
It’s creating a room without having to build. The image with red and white prints is lovely. I think my favourite is where the indoor furniture is simply dragged out onto the patio, instantly creating a room to the sky!
Using indoor furniture in an outdoor settings is interesting but I guess it’s just troublesome to bring them out everytime 🙂

I agree with you that it ends up being a bit of a hassle, but one well worth it to be outdoors in nature don’t you think 😉
