In the sixth of my world’s most unusual hotels series, I’m featuring the Magic Mountain Hotel, in the Huilo Huilo reserve, Chile.

The amazing feature of this hotel is its exterior which is covered by a cascading waterfall!  And that swing bridge, how much fun would that be!

With the hotel nestled in the forest you’ll be able to watch the abundant wildlife such as toucans, lizards, iguanas, eagles and condors from every window. That’s some view!

The interiors are rustic, made out of natural materials with an earthy, warm colour palette.  In perfect keeping with its surroundings.

    This is incredible!

What is the structure itself made of? I’m completely fascinated by this amazing place!

Hi Tamsin, from my research the hotel was built using local wood, which is definitely evident in the interiors with the walls, furniture etc.
