Despite the cool summer day it was a hothouse of colour activity at the Turner Contemporary Margate ‘Drop in to Colour’ on Saturday, part of the  #Summer of Colour programme of events.

Hosted by the Colour Group GB, families enjoyed hours of colourful activities from painting mini masterpieces, playing the colour name card game, making coloured fans, playing with giant jigsaw colour globes, testing their colour vision and creating a large ‘feathered’ dove from their own colourful hands.

There’s still plenty of events happening during the Summer of Colour. Just go to www.summerofcolour.org and whilst there, don’t forget to visit the wonderful Mondrian exhibition.
